Mike Evariste is a filmmaker based in Montreal, Canada. Committed to empowering people by means of his craft, he produced over 300 projects, including documentaries, video clips, live events, conferences, weddings, promotional videos and TV shows. In the last ten years of his career, he worked across Canada, England, Germany, Hungary, France, Poland, Switzerland, Guinea Conakry and the US in order to collaborate with artists or politicians, to collect stories and to cover major historical events from around the world. Known for his unique vision and his dedication to high end production, Evariste creates cinematic concepts tailored to the specific needs of his clients and takes care of a project from ideation to post-production. He has worked with the Mandela Legacy in Canada (2016), the Global Black Coalition for Ukraine (2022), the Toronto Global Forum (2016), the Festival Mode & Design (2017), les Week-ends du monde (2018), the Global Fund (2016), the Women Who Work Award (2018), the International Socialist Women's Conference (2019), Miss Afrique Canada (2019), Miss Cameroun-Canada (2016-2018), Arrondissement Montréal-Nord (2019), le Mois du Sénégal au Canada (2019-2022) and produced material for the artists Baaba Maal (2019), Dadju (2018), Davido (2018), Bil Aka Kora (2020-2021), Alpha Rwirangira (2019), Singuinla (2017) and Flavour (2017) amongst many other. Currently, Evariste is working on his first short film and continues to support his communities through filming and photography.
